南离之名
The Name, Nanli
“Nan” draws from the pearls of the South Sea and the jade of Jiangnan; “Li” takes the trigram of Fire from the I Ching — an emblem of light. Together they honour oriental aesthetics and a promise: born of light, in pursuit of beauty.
南取南海之珠、江南之玉；离承《易》火卦光明之象。南离二字，是品牌对东方美学的致敬。
In 1995 our founder hung the first sign above a small street-front shop. Thirty years on, Nanli still works in a small atelier, leaving the warmth and fingerprints of its makers on every piece.
